Tackling growers’ uncertainty

SmartCane is a practical service designed to help sugarcane farmers get the most out of their fields. Using daily satellite images and academic farming knowledge, we send easy-to-understand updates every week or two with clear advice for each field—what’s growing well, what needs attention, and what to plan next. You’ll get messages (WhatsApp or SMS) with tips on things like weeding, drainage problems, gaps in planting, harvest timing, and more. Our agronomy experts are always available to talk, and we also visit your farm twice a year to go over results and answer questions. Everything is made to fit into your regular farming schedule, so you can make better decisions without extra hassle.

Simplify cane-to-mill management

Managing vast cane sourcing areas with limited resources can be challenging. SmartCane proposes a field anomaly detection and grower management system designed to enhance agricultural monitoring both with nucleus farms and for outgrower farms. By leveraging satellite imagery and intelligent alerting, the system enables early detection of field issues and supports efficient prioritization of harvest, field staff deployment as well as outgrower contract management. SmartCane simplifies decision-making by providing this data in weekly overview maps (also in a phone-friendly format) and more frequent alerts, offering clear insights into growth patterns and field variability.
