OVERVIEW OF CANE SUPPLY AREA

The second page of the report provides an overview of harvest readiness to support harvest planning. Depending on user preference, this map can display any selected indicator, allowing planners to focus on the information most relevant to their decision-making.

Key performance indicators - FARM OVERVIEW

Every week, we generate key performance indicators (KPIs) for each field. These are then aggregated at farm level to provide an overall overview of farm performance, highlighting general crop health, key risks, and areas of progress across the operation.

Data File accompaniment

Based on crop growth indicators we generate alerts per field if field performance is not as we expect it to be. Example alerts:

Field A ~ Significant gaps detected - monitor closely

Field D ~ High risk of growth decline detected

Through the data file, these are made readily accessible to plug into an ERP or field officer management system for targeted inspections.

Support document - report explanation

From page 5 onwards, the report serves as a user guide on the presented results. It explains what each metric means, how the satellite-derived indicators and harvest predictions are calculated, how to interpret crop growth stages and alerts, and provides the metadata needed to understand and confidently use the weekly SmartCane report.
